Leatherman Klakath Hunting Knife
The Nehalem and Klamath were designed by
Leatherman's engineering and design team
as an Extreme Use Tool.
These tools are meant for use by the serious hunter of Big Game Animals.
They are built to handle the thick hide of such animals as
the Cape Buffalo or Wild Boar.
The model is the same, the difference is the blade steel.
Available in top-of-the-line CPMS30V.
When you first take your knife out of the box,
it may take you a minute to find and deploy the Gut Hook.
It is at the butt of the knife and slides out of the handle
with a push on the thumbgrooved bar
that is in the position you would normally find the back spring.
The gut hook is razor sharp for cutting thick hides,
so explore with care.
The gut hook and the blade are made of the same steel.
Each knife includes a Diamond-Coated Sharpening System
for quick touch-up or full maintenance.
Measures 5-1/2" closed. Made in the U. S. A.
Leatherman Klamath
