Best boots ive ever owned, these do not limit movement of the ankle like Lowas tend to do and took about ten minutes to get used to wearing, the sole gives a lot of grip and more importantly the airvents at the top of the ankle work exactly as they should and keep your feet cool enough to reduce sweating.

I forgot to add the concern I had with sizes. On all my boots I have had to go at least a half size up from my trainer sizes. Not with these boots, the fit perfectly and are almost as comfortable as trainers. The leather is very supple and they have plenty of give. Without trying to sound like I am in love with the boots, they really are as good as I have written.

I have tried several boots over the last few years, in various conditions and terrain. I have to say in all my time in the services I have NEVER worn a boot so comfortable. They are without a doubt the best boots I have ever worn, they stood up to a great deal of abuse since I bought them two weeks ago. All the boots I have used have taken a period of time to break in, using tricks and gaining blister. NOT so with the HanWag LX. Trust me if you buy these you will NOT be wasting your money, I will never go back to the other brands I have tried before. Excellent, and German its all good. 10/10 I know a few lads who use these and all agree they are well worth the money.
