Parade Shoes Royal Navy used Grade 1

Hi Everyone, Purchased 2 pairs of these Parade Shoes, one for a friend and a pair for myself. SUPERB!!!! They arrived quickly, well packaged and in Brilliant condition, showing little wear and no nasty cuts & grazes. First Class. Ordered these shoes on a Monday night and they arrived in the post on Wednesday so no problems with delivery. The shoes are almost new and only need a re-polish, the soles are in new condition as well. They will be perfect for general use and parades. Thanks Andrew

Just what an old sailor needed to replace his RN shoes which have seen him through his first years in a civvie job. Grade 1 description was spot on, the price is great and they were delivered very quickly. That ticks all the boxes for me. Thanks Becketts, I am sure to be coming back. Regards Roy.

These shoes arrived some time after being ordered. When I got them I could see that they had been bulled before but not that much. The inside of the shoe is beige but the leather kind of looks like it is a thin layer over something else, hard to explain unless you are looking at it. There were some signs of wear on the side of the shoe. It took me about (in total) 6 - 8 hours of applying several layers of KIWI Shoe Polish with a wet cotton wool ball. Then bulled with a wet cotton wool ball. The thing is, you are not polishing the leather but the POLISH itself ( i asked a guy at TIMPTONS). Now they look the business but not quite the "black glass" yet but from about a few feet away people won't notice. The shoes are quite supple too. The rubber sole is not worn out at all neither at the front or the heel where it is common for it to be slanted after being used for a while. A steal for this price. As an extra note, apparently parade shoes are hard to come by? That was what i was told when i went to an army surplus shop in London !

Shoes arrived on 22nd November. Quite a lengthy delay in receiving the shoes, taking in to account the many positive reviews regarding ultra quick delivery. HOWEVER, When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the general condition of the shoes. The inner would have suggested that the outer should have been more worn than it was. Very little signs of wear on the heel. This is surprising when you consider that service personnel instinctively "crash their heels in" automatically when walking. They were partially 'bulled' when I received them but with a little water, kiwi and some cotton wool they soon looked like the 'mutts nuts'. I was all set to pull out and ask for my money back, but credit where credit is due, the shoes are worth every penny.
